HREPC Mission: To improve the quality of estate planning services to the general public by providing educational programming for the professionals engaged in the drafting, administration and execution of estate plans, and developing a greater cooperation of the role each discipline plays in the process.
From the President
As we prepare to begin our 38th year, we are busy putting our programs together for what we hope will be another great year. We will have five new opportunities to network with your friends and colleagues and catch up on the latest developments in estate planning. We will have entertaining speakers that will touch on different topics that are important to our profession. The entire Board of the Hampton Roads Estate Planning Council is looking forward to you joining us for these fun and informative evenings. The dates for the membership meetings in 2008 are September 16th and November 18th. In 2009, January 20th, March 17th, and May 19th. Please mark your calendars and save these dates.
Like last year, we are again offering sponsorship opportunities for your consideration. These sponsorships allow us the flexibility to bring in the most knowledgeable professionals in the industry for our meetings. Information regarding sponsorships will be forwarded to you soon. Once you receive the sponsorship opportunities, we ask that you let us know as soon as possible if you would like to participate in this way. Sponsorships are on a first come first serve basis.
We look forward to seeing you at your meetings this year and to your feedback on how to make the Council more relevant to you. We also encourage you to recruit new members. New members are important to our council as they bring in new ideas, new partnering opportunities, resources, new fellowship and additional revenue. New membership applications along with information on meetings, sponsorship, and advertising can be found on this website.
We hope you have a wonderful summer!
Sincerely,
E. Hough Johnson, III, CLU ChFC
President
