PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE:
Dear members and guests:
The officers and directors of The Estate Planning Council of Delaware, Inc. welcome you to participate in this year's meetings and events. As you know, one purpose of the Council is to promote educational programs that help keep our membership informed on the latest developments in estate planning. Participation also provides networking opportunities that foster a multi-disciplinary approach as we work with mutual clients. For this very reason, we encourage all members to actively participate in the Council and join one of the committees. Members benefit professionally and personally from the experience. Active participation and feedback will also help your directors deliver programs that are of interest. Leimberg Information Services is available through membership and we hope that you take advantage of this benefit as well.
If you desire to participate with the National Association of Estate Planners and Councils, the annual meeting will be held at Amelia Island, Florida on November 11 thru November 13. Past NAEPC annual meetings have proven to be fast paced and very informative. We encourage our members to qualify for the Accredited Estate Planner (AEP) designation which is managed through the National Association. National Estate Planning Awareness week is October 19th through the 25th. Our Council intends to support estate planning awareness locally in the fall.
